Emotiva offers great value for the stated specifications/features and build quality looks very good too. But sound quality wise keep in mind that its "mid-fi", not an audiophile's destiny piece of gear.

Forgot to mention another good brand of electronics: the Aussie Redgum. Its a bit pricey with the soft U.S. dollar, but the Chinese built Son of a Gun 60 wpc integrated uses their same design and offers better value with terrific sound.

So what speakers are you locking into? One of the great confusions in audio is the synergy that pieces (amps to speakers is the prime example) either have (good) or not (bad). Someone here should be able to steer you in the right direction. And unfortunately there are pretty much no manufacturers that do both speakers and amps really well.
