U.K. and U.S. Plugs

What are the pro and con of using the above plugs for your components?

Voltage is different and so are the plugs

That may be one of the reasons. But most dealers where I come from use the U.S.plugs for all the components.Is there any risk in doing so?

So you use a voltage converter?  Not sure I know exactly what you mean.  Are they selling US voltage products in Europe?
