The Odyssey amps punch way beyond their weight and would be an excellent match to any speaker, in my opinion. This is a characteristic of a good amp in that it would make even a mediocre speaker sound good (I would not put the ML in this category!). I would caution as to the proper preamp, this appears to be a much more significant factor to their optimal performance. Does your preamp have an output impedance less than 2k ohm? Both the Tempest and Candela exhibit this characteristic. The lower the better. You could exhibit problems with preamps of higher output impedance. In that case, dump the preamp, the Odyssey amps are hard to beat and would not be the weak link in the chain.
