I enjoy watching computer generated images with my music from time to time. My favorite source for these programs is:
http://www.soundspectrum.com/
They recently came out with AEON and it's the best so far, the program runs on my laptop and to my HDTV via HDMI and is triggered by the laptops on board mic. Very customizable and very high end computer graphics moving with the music at a pace and style or styles of your choosing. I think AEON was like $30 and they have other types of visual programs also. Watching on my Sony 46" in the dark is a blast. Just thought I'd share that with you guys.  :thumb:

My J.River Media Center comes with 40+ visualizations, and support for White Cap and the latest G-Force visualizations but frankly I have no need for purchasing even more visualizations beyond what I already have. My 3D Visualizations are among my favorite. I use my 23" Acer LCD but I also have my HTPC system connected to a 36" Sony XBR CRT via component video that I use for DVD movies. I never really thought about using it for music visualizations but that's a nice idea Ed, I'll have to give it a go.  :thumb:
