Leave Half Wall Open?
«

I have a half wall on the left side of my system. Would it make sense to put some diffusion or absorption panels in that space instead of leaving it open? (The computer stuff is not normally there)

I'd want to see what's through the opening. In general, you'll want to make that side as similar to the other side as possible.

OK. The other opening is covered with heavy curtains.

Hey, how did you change speakers so fast
Will probably need a pic of the right wall too. Ultimately, close the hole but in reality get diffusion or absorption symmetry on the left and right first reflection points .

Since you really can't do a lot with the left wall past the opening, closing it up would be a good thing IMO if that's an option.
