I've seen quite a few posts on various boards about veneering and sources for various veneers.

I just ran across a 2002 directory from CWB and thought it might be helpful to start a thread of veneer suppliers. This is not intended to be a commercial post.  I personally have olny used a small portion of this list and cannot vouch for most of the suppliers, some may only sell wholesale.   The following links give great examples of wood species for reference as well.  If you know any others please add to the list:

That's a very nice list indeed.  I also think it would be good for people to chime in with their experiences with the various vendors as well.  I'd like to add Tape-Ease, www.tapeease.com, to the list of veneer suppliers.  I've purchased all of my veneer from them and have always had excellent customer service.

Cool list!  My dad is in town for a few days to visit; he's retired now, but worked as a carpenter for over forty years with tons of woodworking knowledge.  I've been discussing finish carpentry with him, sort of trying to decide just how much work it would be to build some really nice looking speaker cabs & veneer them.  I'll ask him about some of these products and see if he has any opinions.
