Low Noise Floor

Bryston's low noise floor, more apparent with the SST/2. I call it the black background.
When I listen with the lights off the black background matches the blackness of the room. The music then paints light over this black canvas and if the recordings & music is good. It becomes beautiful Art.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Depends what mood I am in, I enjoy listening to my music in a dark room or sometimes I will either have a solitary candle, wall sconce gargoyles or a solitary incense stick lit.
Be well…

Yep. You get the black background even with vinyl. The phono stage in the BP6, is ultra quiet!
