7BSST2 Pro with output relay issue?
« on: 2 Dec 2010, 10:53 pm »
First post here.

I've been a Bryston advocate from 4B...7B...7BST...and now 7BSST2 Pros.  The amps are driving a pair of Maggie 20.1s from Manley Reference Preamp.

As a normal procedure, I would have music playing and would be turning the 7BSST2 down via front panel power switch (that sticks at times...) one at a time.  As soon as I turn off the one amp, music stops dead...as I would guess the output relay is off.  However, the other 7BSST2 would keep playing the music even without power until the power caps drain.  It seems odd that this one is behaving differently...

Anyone had similiar issues?

thanks,

Ki

I thought I was asking a question that might get as least some responses from a dedicated Bryston fourm but ...after few days of no response, I guess I'll have to take my question elsewhere...
