F/S: MHDT Havana DAC --SOLD
« on: 2 Dec 2010, 05:53 pm »
FS: one MHDT Havana DAC, in superb condition. This DAC sounds terrific and comes with a 1958 NOS Ericsson Gold 396A valve installed, but the package will also include an NOS Western Electric JW2C51 for tube rolling experiments. I will also include the stock valve which came with the DAC, a GE JAN 5670W. The DAC will also come with a Herbie's Ultra-Sonic damper on the tube and a silver/gold cryo fuse from Hifi-Tuning (the stock fuse is included in the box). MHDT supplied the Havana without a power cord, so I will include a 1m Pangea Audio AC14. The package also includes a basic USB cable and soft grey slip cover for packing the DAC (which you can partially see in the photo).

If you are interested in this DAC, you probably already know how widely and strongly it has been praised. There are numerous very positive reviews on the web, as well as a 70+ page thread on tube-rolling and tweaking this DAC on the Dedicated Source Components forum at head-fi.org.

Now $SOLD

The two toslink cables I had for sale are now gone, but this DAC remains available.
