Forget the Maggies, go for the ARC.  Especially the power amp.  Good excuse to bail on the in laws.

Now I am kicking myself!  I just called and some guy from Webster is heading that way to buy 'em.  Had I called instead of blabbing I might have that amp.  Owner says it works great.

And ARC will still repair those models.  Can get em fully upgraded so they are like new...

Just out of curiousity, which model of amp was it?

If anybody buys the T-1Cs and wants helps with placement suggestions, let me know.  T-1Ds were my main speakers for about 25 years and I'm fairly conversant with all the little tricks to make them sound as good as they can.
