Been waiting for them to develop a more eloquent solution for awhile now. . .and it's here!  For those with J. River and an Android phone, get your Gizmote in the Android Market (free) and make sure you have the latest MC build (which you have to get here: http://files.jriver.com/mediacenter/MediaCenter150157.exe


It works great!  I am one step closer (well, my first step. . .) to making my Droid X a universal remote.

It's very east to set up, too.
