American packages went out on Saturday. Two foreign packages hopefully this weekend.

I decided to make this a true gift. No payment necessary, enjoy! Was hoping to have a donation to AudioCircle but there's no mechanism to do it right now. Anyway, my small way of giving back to a forum that his given me much joy. Merry Christmas!

Drop a line after it arrives and tell me if the stuff is useful.

Glad to belong.
If you wash the sponges, do not use fabric softener.
And cut off the blue tails. They get really tangled in the wash, don't ask me how I know.

I'm down to only a couple of squirts left in my vinylzme so the timing of this is perfect.

What formula are you guys using to create a good enzyme cleaner with this?  I may break out the 16.5 and steam gun and do some cleaning tomorrow with these new goodies!

Glad it got there in time for Christmas. For cleaning instruments, they say 1oz for one gallon. And Wayner adds drops to his small batches of water/alcohol mix.

I'm one of those guys that cringes when he adds Simple Green to water. Like it's gonna "release" its power in water and full strength is bad? It's just a "more is better mindset."

So, personally without any data to support it, I add about 1/3 to 1/2 oz to a spray bottle of reverse-osmosis water, about 12-16 oz size. The little (unused) specimen bottles (I'm taking care of you guys!) hold 2 oz (60 cc).

This makes the fluid a little yellow so you don't mix it up with a clear cleaning fluid that I use as a rinse (since my bottles have to match). Because I have a Loricraft that sucks the record pretty drive, occasionally I use the enzyme as a single step, but more often than not I'm adding the RCF rinse and even another distilled water rinse.

Now that we have a bunch of this stuff out there, It'd be interesting to hear from some of you!

Thanks for that suggestion, Paul.  I'll pick up some a gallon of distilled water just for this when I run out for groceries today.

Wayner,

I remember reading that one should be cautious cleaning with alcohol and enzyme cleaner in the same mixture as the alcohol killed the enzyme.  I don't know the validity, but I think it came up on vinyl asylum when I asked for criticism on my cleaning process some years ago.

You've been around the block a few times, so I'm sure you know what your doing--is this a real concern?
