Very excited to report that I have a pair of Ref9SEv2 on the way :D

I will be powering a set of in-wall VMPS 626 speakers and using a Sherbourn PRE-1 preamp.

My main source will be a SB Touch with a Bolder Modified Power Supply.

I have quite a bit of Nuforce destop stuff (original Icon with larger power supply and S-1 speakers with the Subwoofer) and am really looking forward to the Ref9's.

Many thanks to John Casler for his patience in discussing several possible amp/pre-amp combos.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

PS, my wife just got the Nikon D7000 to balance out my Nuforce purchase .

Glad to assist and maybe the wife can take some pics of you with her new Nikon of you and your new gear. :green:

Looks like the Preamp hit Thanksgiving shipping traffic.

With that pre and the ref 9's you can use XLR cables if you have them. :thumb:

I have never used Blue Jeans, and the price is right ($60 or so for a 3ft pair)

NuFORCE has a 1m pair for $249, but the metallurgy and wire configuration is quite different.
