What is the best software to get to get the best possible rip from CD to PC FLAC format

I agree with golfugh. I use dbpoweramp now, but I used the free EAC up until the switch around a year ago.

JRiver Media Center 15 is an outstanding Secure Ripper - reputed to be as good as any. It also has one of the best players SQ wise as well as the most powerful and flexible database for organizing your collection. Well worth the price.

Guess you can tell I'm a believer.

In the brief trials I did, the files ripped by db sounded much better than those ripped by EAC. Don't know or care why - the imaging/soundstaging of the db files was just better.  Doesn't cost much to try! (BTW, I was trying this w/ WAV files only)

So I try db first, but for discs that don't rip well w/ db, I bring in w/ EAC.

dBpoweramp is very good, very fast and also check for accuracy, it recommends using Teac drive for improve accuracy in ripping. You have to pay for it $38/copy.

exactaudiocopy is very good but very slow and accurate, but free.
