New records to avoid

I hope this will be a public service post for AC. I'll start it off by warning you all about the new Shelby Lynne LP "Tears, Lies, and Alibis". I am a big SL fan and like the music on this record very much, however, the vinyl is noisy and the packaging is black and white. The cd sounds better and the cover is in color. I think the record company cut corners on quality. This makes no sense to me since the LP is more expensive than the cd. Caveat emptor.

Bummer! I was about to buy that record from acousticsounds dot com.
Thanks for the warning! Oh well, I might as well as give it
a listen at my local store before I swipe the plastic!

Scotthobby,
Wow. My copy sounds terrific. BTW, I like the B&W cover.
I do have a couple really badly pressed 2010 LPs:
The Dead Weather "Horehound"
Phosphorescent "Taking It Easy"
Raveonettes "In and Out of Control"
