Generally speaking, you don't want to have your tube amp running without your preamp and speakers connected it.

What is the context around your question?

everything is connected. just nothing powered on except power amp to burn in some tubes.

One possible issue might be when you turn your pre-amp or source on you could get a big thump through your speakers. Do you have a mute function somewhere?

Tube amp is class A (Audio Mirror 45 watt SET monoblocks) if that matters.

No mute, but would not power up anything else during this burn in phase (just got NOS input and driver tubes to be burned in).
Once completed then power off amp, let it cool down, and then proper power on sequence for music (amp on last, off first).

Nice amps.

I have a pair that have been upgraded.

Be careful with those 6C33C tubes...they get mighty hot.

Yeah, that sounds safe to me too. How long is the burn in?

suggested minimum burn in time for nos driver and input tubes is 48 hrs. though would likely start playing music before then at some point.

If you want the maximum life for those tubes, burn them in per the recommendations, don't cut it short.

Those 6C33C tubes are very finicky.
