A seller on Ebay is offering pairs of IEC Mullard......yes,it says the "M" word on the box.............5u4GB  tubes for a starting price of 19.99.It looks like he has several pairs.Has anyone heard these tubes? Any thoughts on these IEC Mullard tubes...from the looks they say "60's" to me....what you say?

I can't comment on the seller or the 5U4G 'IEC Mullard' tubes but I can say with certainty, I avoid the small signal IEC Mullards like the plague. the old logo'd Mullards are wonderful tubes. The IECs generally sound OK but nearly every one I've owned (somewhere around 8-10) has ended up going noisy. Longevity is short too.

...but this is just me and my experience with the small signal IECs. Hopefully somebody can weigh in on the rectifiers.
