Guys,
Thanks from me as well.
Yes, it was actually a very good show. Much better than last year business-wise.
As for the sound, it was off the charts, if I may say so.
The last couple of years in the same room there were a few acoustic issues that bugged me, so I decided to 90 degree the system onto the long wall to eliminate the standing waves that I had the years before in 3 different areas, and to show off the systems insane depth and width. I guarantee you, flat out, that there was not a better imaging system at the show, period. It was unbelievable. However, more than ever this vast 3 d effect was prevalent in the one single chair that we had, even though next to it the depth and width did not fall apart either. Very, very nice, and what I have been preaching for forever, and what I have in my own system. Highly, highly addictive, hehehehe.
Also, we obviously had to watch the volume, because now, with the drivers looking at less than 10 feet to the front wall, one can overload the room easily. Lastly, I think that we eliminated comments from these idiots who open the door, put their heads into the room for 30 seconds, and have an opinion about any given system. Morons.
As for the feedback, well, we have tons and tons of review inquiries from all sorts of magazines. These reviewers were flabbergasted, which is a good thing.
See below for some more links / comments.
Late,
Klaus
