Wow Gerry, this brings back some great childhood memories.

(Not of the music, but of riding the Blue Streak at Cedar Point.) Every time they added the latest and greatest coaster, that meant that we could ride the Blue Streak over and over with little or no waiting.  And that's exactly what we did - dozens of times both entering and exiting the park.

Good times!

Allan Holdsworth and me were friends at one point, back in ‘78.  He was frighteningly good, and the most quintessential English guitarist ever.  The first solo after the drum-break on “Unmerry Go Round” from “Metal Fatigue” is pure soul.

My fav drummers with Allan have to be Gary Husband, Gary Novak, Tony Williams, and Jon Hiseman.
I love “The Sixteen Men of Tain” with Dave Carpenter on upright, with Gary Novak.
Search out Allan’s album with Gordon Beck - “The Things You See”.
