EDDIE DAVIS   MODERN JAZZ  A KING RELEASE   I DID NOT KNOW HOW RARE THIS RELEASE WAS.CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHO ARE THE SIDEMEN??? -I FOUND THE ANSWER ON GOOGLE. THE ANSWER IS DOC BAGBY ON ORGAN AND CHARLIE RICE ON DRUMS.
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF DOC BAGBY.HERE IS A BLURB ABOUT CHARLIE RICE,Rice, Charlie, drummer; b. Philadelphia, PA, 1 March 1920.

Rice was a mainstay of the Philadelphia scene in the 1940s and 1950s. He had an extended stay with Jimmy Oliver's house band at the Downbeat opposite visiting stars such as Parker, Gillespie, Bud Powell and Hank Jones during 1945 and probably into 1946 or even 1947. Then he led the first house band in Club 421 with Vance Wilson, Red Garland, bassist Bob Bushnell, and trumpeter Johnny Hughes. Around this time he played rehearsals with Jimmy Heath's big band but he was not available to do gigs with them. He was on a USO tour to the South Pacific in (1951) with J.J. Johnson and Howard McGhee, played with Sonny Stitt and Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, and Leo Parker.  He toured and recorded with Chet Baker in 1964 and 1965, then left full-time performing to teach music in the public schools. He lives in Camden, N.J.

Bibligraphy:
Howard McGhee: South Pacific Jazz (1952); Sonny Stitt and Eddie Lockjaw Davis: Stitt and Jaws at Birdland (1954); Leo Parker: Let Me Tell You 'Bout it (1961); Chet Baker (1964)

Absolutely.  Once I figured out your modus operandi of listening all day and night then posting I realized you are the real deal.  Keep up the commentary (preferably not all capitalized ;-)) as I love to learn about the jazz history.

Thanks!
