Heard some cuts off the new Medeski Scofield Martin & Wood on the local PBS jazz show, looks like I'm gonna have to get me some of that. And Eberhard is a long time fave though I only have that one on CD.

Count Basie, could record in high quality. Not sure why others in that era could not. But, his recordings were of very good quality, you won't be disappointed in them..
