Terje Rypdal: Chaser '85
ArthurDent - Nice! Perhaps my favorite Terje release.Puts me in the mood for some now. Let's see ... think I'll kick off my morning with these two:"Rypdal, Vitous, DeJohnette" and "Blue"
John Handy's Quintet and the one recorded at Monterey was virtually the house band in the mid sixties at Both/And, a club on Divisadero St in San Francisco and a block and a half away from my crib. Seen em many times and they were very popular there. Their music was fabulously intense. Mike White on violin! Who ever heard of such a thing. Intense. How do you happen to be listening to that one, Bobby?
CactusBob blues for Tony great disc set.
