What jazz ALBUM are you currently listening to?

Same group Live at Monterey (Columbia) and I DO mean live! They just keep getting more intense and I DO mean intense with each chorus. Not many albums made like this. Just two tracks on this and after pretty lengthy intros by Handy, they take off and fly!

ps- I lived a block and a half from a club called the Both/And where this very group (same as the previous recommendation) was virtually the house band. They transported the room and all it's uplifted faces in attendance off its foundation and into outer space many times it pleases me to tell you. The drummer from Vancouver (so was the bassist) was like a combo of Elvin Jones and Tony Williams and this can be heard!!
