Fuse Upgrades?

I know that there are supposedly "better quality" fuses available to install in one's amplifier. Is there any perceivable improvement or is it snake oil? I wouldn't mind trying it on my Adcom 535.

I've not tried it....but some have - mixed results...

I have only ventured to ceramic fuses...didn't really pay attention as to whether there was an audible difference.
