An instant classic.  Darn Sony for discontinuing the tray drive mechanism, or whatever happened.  Darn short lifespan for such a good product.

FWIW I talked to Oppo last week and they said the new version would only be an improvement in every way and it will be out in 2-4 months.  They do not think there will be any change in the audio quality as they are going to use the same components.......of course I am no electrical engineer, but that is what i was told.
