Modwright SWL9.0 SE Tube Preamplifier/Linestage. I am selling my silver faced Modwright SWL 9.0SE with Tube rectifier ($500 upgrade) and JPS wiring in 9/10 condition. This unit is an upgrade from the standard version and just about the same as the special edition with the tube rectifier upgrade. The unit also comes with the new style blue and silver Modwright SWL 9.0 remote with the replacement chip installed. This is a $50 upgrade. There is also a set of XLR inputs added for convenience. These are not true balanced inputs.
This unit is in absolute mint condition.
The driver tubes have also been upgraded from the stock tubes. Inside are Tung-Sol 5687 tubes.
This pre-amp has a home theater bypass switch which allows one to use this unit for 2 channel audio and also pass a signal through to the 2 front mains in a home theater configuration.
I am selling to upgrade to the new LS-100.
