Suitability of Piccolo with low output moving iron cartridges?

Could Jim or others offer any advice as to the suitability of the Piccolo head amp with Grado low output moving iron cartridges? It is advertised for use with moving coils, but is there any reason it shouldn't work with Grados as well?

As soon as the load resistance and gain suits a cartridge the Piccolo can be used for any type of cartridge.
