Granite amps - check these out!

I was gob-smacked when I saw these last weekend. The latest creation from Earle Weston of Weston Acoustics. The monoblacks are 300B, the preamp is 6SN7s. I don't have too many other details about the topology.

Must have take a bit of work to carefully mount the stuff.  Beautiful craftsmanship.  I watched them cut the hole for my bar sink in the basement and the faucet in the kitchen.

Very cool, love the look and of course they have to have rock solid imaging. :)

Nice. Gobsmacked is the word. Perfect complement would be a Kaplan GS cord!  :thumb:

Beautiful workmanship. Reminds me a bit of the Ancient Audio "Lektor Prime" CD Player.

They'd look pretty good sitting side by side.

Beautiful just beautiful. I like the fusion of natural material and electronics. I imagine they sound as good as they look.

Yes, they sounded lovely. Well, there was a lot of amp swapping going on but I'm pretty sure I heard this set playing through a pair of small full-range transmission line speakers.

Hi.
Beautifull, different and classy...
However, not my style, but again, I must say : Beautifull, different and classy.
I think if you want to velue the beauty of those items, you must get an interior decorator to match those beautifull pieces of art with the remaining of your living room or listening room.

Hi.
Everything is granit ! That's where the name comes from.
They must own or have shares in a granit quarry.

Very nice!
A fellow over on thecarversite is building a set of granite monoblocks from a schematic and metal base that Bob Carver sent to him.  That would be the schematic for the amps that Bob is throwing up on eBay every so often - I believe they're listed at 180W each but are closer to 240W.
I'll see if I can't get him to post a few photos showing the development from start to finish.
Right now he's closer to the start than the finish but is making progress.
