Not a new model but a new pair of Super-V's.

The Lamborghini Yellow paint job has gotten them the nick name, The Super Bumble-V's.

These will be powered by new Dodd Audio mono-blocks.

We will be using the new Tranquility DAC being feed by the latest Mac Mini.

And Dave (PI Audio) will be handling our AC power and room treatments.

Come see us in room 2024 of the main tower.

Probably because it's a bit overkill to use the PI Audio UberBuss for just the battery chargers.

Also, hopefully Gary is going to see if there's any interest in a Dodd Audio Tube Amp Kit.  **hint hint**  Maybe this is the prototype kit?  :D  :thumb:

Those look great Danny.  Do these use fasteners to go together like the silver SuperVs last year or are they glued?  The reason I ask I because I have considered building another set of painted V1s, the issue I have is that I know I will not be able to paint them two tone after I build them (glueing them together) but I am not sure how I would glue them together after painting, perhaps I could mask off the glue areas.

Best of luck at RMAF!  My V1s make me smile every day!

Best,
Ed

When I assembled the side panels on these for the owner, I used 10 screws for each panel. Six of them are just standard wood screws, through the woofer h frame sides and into the exterior side panels. You don't see them at all afterwards.

For the other 4 screws, I used a KREG jig to drill diagonally through the baseplates and through the top baffle, near the coax driver. You have to use their proprietary screw for those locations. It made for a very sturdy construction. From the back, you can see where the screws are, but since they are diagonally countesunk, they are pretty inconspicuous.
