Welcome from a former St. Louisian.  I live in Savannah now but still have great memories of the Lou from back in my hippie days.  Lived in South County and Kirkwood and even Afton for a while.  Anyway, wish I were up there with you guys. 
Is the Bevo Mill still around?

My wife grew up in Affton, and we currently live in Oakville.  :D
