Hello all,

New to this board, but not new to vintage audio. I've already seen a few usernames here that I recognize from AK or VE message boards.

And if you're wondering, yes I'm a fan of vintage Mitsu gear.  :D

Will I be attacked relentlessly by a pack of Grado-hating wild dogs if I go there?

Nope - I know the Facilitator there - personally :D

All are welcome and most is tolerated (and if it get's too heated there is active moderation to douse the fires a bit)

Power amps, tuner/preamps, turntables, speakers, power meters.

In Japan it was/is Diatone. MELCO Sales was formed in the US in the mid-70's to bring in their high-end gear to the states. By 82' or so, they retreated back to Japan and kept producing under the Diatone (Diamond Star) name. Other than their CD players, they were horribly consumer like most other big name makers by the mid 80's. I have only their gear from 1975-1982.  :D
