Finally got to shoot HD video with the 5D mark2 for a job instead of just drunken party videos of friends.

The video quality is fantastic - My brother who was the director and editor was blown away by it- said he can't go back to shooting digital betacam.

A 19 year old from Germany shot and produced the following video on youtube.  He used a variety of lenses from 10mm to 300mm including a macro.  I was especially blown away with the last minute.  It's very well produced and edited.

i think the reason my vid doesn't work for you is do you have quicktime on your comp?

Thanks, I got QuickTime but it isn't my default player.  That video is well done but it's too compressed.  The video quality of DSLRs is amazing and what makes them really cool is being able to use whatever lens you desire.  However I haven't explored this feature in either of my two cameras.  Shooting quality video is a lot of work and very time consuming
