Simple active output stage for my dac?

I recently dit the passive mod on my DAC-AH but the gait from it is crazy low compared to my CDP.  does anyone know of a diy output stage that rund on 12vdc? ive been looking at this http://diyparadise.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=61 theres a post on head fi where they used it in a dac-ah.
