I paid a little over $1100 for these cables and they are still brand new. Just a month old and used very few hours.

In terms of pure cost the speaker cables alone use $585 worth of furutech alpha wire. Throw in a pair of interconnects?! Well, you get my point.

Can you clarify the cable manufacturer?  Double helix can be Mapleshade, but they look like something else.  You mention Furutech connectors only.  Are the cables Furutech as well? 

Are they o.e.m. factory made cables or DIY?

I didn't know what the rules were if I could post it here but now that you ask I will.

All the details are on the website. To me these cables sound like jena labs. I believe the copper is either furutech alpha (cryo and demagnetized OCC) or molecule wire.

 The termination is indeed furutech and I was trying to say that the ones I got are better than the stock ones that he offers - meaning the more expensive and better connectors.
