Its a Lowther DX 4 based design and if you Google of go to the 6moons link below you will see and read a far better explanation of the design and speaker. These are coming from the home of the original owner who also developed the Sound Engineering SE turntable and was a personal friend of the speaker designer, they used to do the audio shows together. I am possibly interested in these, looking to replace my Zu Definitions which were damaged via natural disaster.

They appear to be set up fairly close to the side & rear walls, do they not need a lot of space around them to perform well?
