This is a SAD day for me but this is a hobby and my life dictates what must be done

QUINTUPLE 8's INFO

Newest version - Higher quality Birch wood (lighter, more less resonance and more durable)
If you know what these are then you know that even at full price these can beat $50,000 speakers for Theater and offer clarity for music that puts you "in the audience front row"

Owned just 8 months
One minor flaw on one of them - A single missing t-nut that is sealed off and 2 others that I added some glue to just to make sure the seal was tight. 100% fully functional 100% fine from the mouth of Jeff directly - Can EASILY be fixed or left.

These are $1500 each + shipping ($3200 total) and on a 3-4+ month backorder!
Here is it $1700 + shipping and Paypal!
Estimated shipping to middle of the country $300
Free pickup in Northern NJ - Might also deliver/meet half way.
Final offer and lowest price.

Name is also Goonstopher on AVS so if you read the JTR thread you will know how much I love these speakers and I know you will too!

CAPTIVATOR INFO

This would be MUCH better picked up in northern NJ - Shipping will be a nightmare but you can help me figure it out...

This is really a world class subwoofer and I am a subwoofer connoisseur
The easily beats the SVS PB13 Ultra, Epik Dynasty and HSU VTF3 MK3 and I have owned each of them
This sells for 1200+shipping AND is subject to a 3-5 month wait.
I am literally giving this away for $550
That price is for northern NJ pickup
It would be very hard to ship but you can try to figure it out and we can talk about it possibly
I am willing to include an EP2500 amplifier for it well bellow market price for the buyer.

One more try here...

These price are stupid cheap

Maybe a bargain, but don't think most have ever heard of, let alone heard this brand. That's my guess.

Well I had paradigm studio 60's and these make them look like bose cubes. Hear Klipsch rf-83 (which cost almost as much as I am asking) and they sounded like they had blown tweeters in comparison.

These are a steal at full price. IMO close to perfect and it kills me to sell them. Plus anyone in my area is welcome to hear before they buy

Unfortunate but probably completely accurate. I've rarely ever noticed this type of speaker ever discussed at AC(much less the brand). Closest thing that I've seen get some discussion here would be the Geddes speakers, and they're still a little different because of some of the unique things Dr. Geddes does with his speakers.

Still, it's a screamin' deal. I'd jump on it but I already have them for my lcr.

Goonstopher, maybe you should include a link to the JTR site. Just a suggestion. And I'd agree that they toast Paradigm studios. A friend of mine had a set of Studio 100s and CC690 in room much better treated than mine and I REALLY preferred the Q8s.

Are we allowed to link to another board?

The JTR owner thread at AVS is simply amazing with the reviews...

If I was not going through financial changes right now these would be the last set of speakers I can see myself ever buying

Well, I don't know if we can link to another board(I'd tend to think not), but I meant to the JTR website. I know it doesn't have tons of commentary from other owners but at least it has the speaker specs and some commentary by other owners.

Yeah, sure, it's fine.

These speakers really are breathtaking

They give a new meaning to loud and clear and effortless while remaining totally lacking in any brightness or harshness.

It is ridiculous that more people dont know about them. At this rate I want to keep them for myself but I really CANT afford to add a center channel...

Hopefully with the lower end single 8 coming out in the future more people willg et an idea what the JTR sound is all about.
