Hello,
I'm new to this site & hope I'm not posting in the wrong area.
I have just received a Dokorder 8020 reel to reel "dub-a-tape". This thing looks to be in fantastic condition but there isn't a book or manual with it. I don't know anything about it & don't want to ruin it (or my stereo) buy doing something dumb. I couldn't find any instructions on-line & didn't want to buy a manual just to test this machine.
If anyone is famillar with this machine or point me in the right direction to download a manual, I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Mark

Is this unit a good one or not worth spending any time on?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

At the bottom of this page there are some jpegs of brochures and what looks like a start-up guide. But you've probably seen these by googling.

Don't have any experience with the machines. Looks interesting, but it seems like with transports and head assemblies for 2 tapes, that there is twice as much that could have issues and need refurbishing.
