That is a great review, and it nailed all the attributes that makes listening to a pair of Omega Loudspeakers such an enjoyable experience.

FWIW, I own a pair of Omega Sticks, and I know with the right electronics you can make those Babies Rock!

Very well written review! Congrats Louis! One of the best Omega sounds I've heard to date were 6"XRSs driven with Coincident 300B SET monos, source was Reimyo cdt and dac, preamp RWA Isabella. Sound to die for!!

I think the greatest compliment is that the reviewer has purchased the review pair. When the Super 6's were connected to the Trafomatic Experience Two (300B) the sound was just so seductive that it was hard for the reviewer to actually take notes. He just wanted to sit and enjoy the music. I think it tells you a lot about just how great The Omega's can be.

..why don't you tell us some more..I thought Hoyt Bedfords won't be fitted with Super 8 Alnicos and I was also in a belief that they'd be some 97db sensitive..

..or what's this all about??? I can't stand it anymore..

Hi Jouni,

Thanks and your right./ The alnico won't be used in the Hoyt line. There is an upgrade to a Ferrite 8" hemp driver and sorry if there was any confusion.

i just read the review tonight like a proud parent. I will not part with my Alnico 6XRS. They match perfectly to my tastes with the Triode TRV-A88SE and TRV-CD4SE. Good PRAT (whatever that is), great imaging, and lovely, realistic tone.
