Squeezebox Touch via SPDIF to PW Dac or Mac Mini via USB to PW Dac?

I have a PC now and a Squeezebox Touch SPDIF to my Perfectwave Dac.
I'm thinking of getting a 2010 Mac Mini and running that to my PW Dac - I suppose via USB as that would be optimum.

Which configuration would I get better sound from?
