With the Bybee in the middle it sorta looks like a snake that just ate a mouse!   I was thinking the Bybee was supposed to work better on an end?  I could be remembering wrong, though.

I bet that bad boy sounds pretty damn good.  Bubba's really been talking the Napalm up; that might have to be the first cable I try from Wayne.

I haven't been able to listen to it yet. . .

My system is in the process of being rebuilt. . .so, I'm w/o a sub amp for my Smaller Sub.  It is being used to power my mains.

I was going to go the XR45 route; however, it is sold out everywhere.   :x

Anyways, much of the money I was going to spend on the 45 and its mods went to a shopping spree at JCrew.com and BananaRepublic.com.    Had to do something to make me a bit happy b/c I got bad news. . .I didn't get the job I interviewed for 2 weeks ago

Anyways, I will try and give it a listen tomorrow.

Wayne puts the Bybee in the middle like that for flexibility & clearance.

And yeah, time for a better digital Rob!

From what Sa-Dono said about the Firemine, you'd be most pleased with a Napalm.

The Napalm was conceived and built to be the "best" digital cable I knew how to make. It was made with Eichmann Silver Bullet connectors and a small Bybee Quantum Purifier.

The small Bybee purifiers are not being offered any longer. They have been replaced by the Slipstream Bybee Purifiers, which cost more.

In direct comparison, the new copper WBT NextGen connectors sounded better than the same digital cable made with the Silver Bullets.

The Napalm is going to be redesigned to take advantage of these new products. The price will be more. I "may" change the name of the cable to reflect the new parts used in making it. In the meantime, I have removed all products made using the "old" small Bybee Purifier from the website.

I just received my first shipment of Slipstream Purifiers on Friday. I have not tried out any of them yet in any audio or digital cables. I have built a custom S-video Purifier using the Silver Slipstream Purifiers, which retail for nearly $200.00 per Purifier :o . The change in picture quality was astounding when I inserted them in the feed from my sat. receiver (which already has a Purifier in the RF line).

Whaddaya think, Brian?  Will you have to upgrade to the new "Napalm 2" or whatever Wayne decides to call it?

Shame the new Bybees are so much more expensive than the old ones, though.

Do you have to even ask?

I got the first Silver Bullet Plug digital he built. I pestered him to build me one better (the Napalm), and I've already mentioned some things to him about the next top 'o the line model. Hopefully I'll be one of the first to get one of those...

And the new Bybees are only like $10-$15 more than the old ones, so it's not so bad. Except for the Silver ones, the price increase on those is a bit more. :o Which is going to make my next digital really spendy...

I don't know, toss it out? I can't imagine that anyone would want such a cable...

Just what I figured!   Lemme know when you get the new one and maybe I can help you "dispose" of it.  I'm going to order an inline bybee tomorrow from Danny, and if I like what it does to digital I'll keep it & start experimenting with bybees on other cables (vid, etc).   I'd maybe leave the inline bybee plugin with the Firemine & put it in my 2nd system and try the Napalm in my main rig.

Well I do use 3 digitals in my setup. So it's going to take a long time & lots of $ before my Napalm is no longer needed...

But I might get you to help with disposing of the Silver Bullet Cryo'd Bolder that'll be extra when I get a new digital...
