For sale are my Wright Sound WPA 3.5 mono 2A3 amps. Continuing to clean out my extra equipment. Second owner. Cosmetically very nice showing a few minor marks (as is the case with these amps as George Wright didn't put his money into finishes, he just built great amps). Original packing and manual. 4, 8, &16 ohm taps. Magnequest transformers. 5 way binding posts.
These are great sounding amps, that magic SET midrange with better bass and treble extension than the typical 300B. I will include 2 complete sets of tubes: the first came with the amps, and I have no idea the hours on them, only that they were in good working order when I removed them from the amps- 2 Sovtek 2A3s, 2 EH 6SN7s, and two Jan 5Y3GTA Sylvania rectifiers. The second set is essentially new, less than 100 hours and cost around $500 for the set--2 Sophia Electric mesh plate 2A3s, 2 Shuguang Treasure black glass CV181-Z's (a drop in replacement for the 6SN7s), and 2 JAN Phillips 5Y3GTA rectifiers. No need to buy anything here and you have mulitple choices to roll and find the best sound for your system. These are great sounding amps and , you can't do much better without spending multiples of my asking price. I have had Cary and Audio Note SETs in the past, and the Wright amps are just as good or better
