I have some CHR70s I will try it out with.  I also have some old FE126e but it seems they are made for the 126en.

We heard them recently at a G to G, w/126En drivers.
Having built a pair of "Frugels" and lived with them for a while, it was clear that these latest gen. outperformed the originals.
Less fiddly build too!
Best, Don

From the T/S measures i have the FE126En (4 units) falls within the envelope of FE126e measures (100s) so in terms of working in the horn the older driver will do just fine.

Good to know. I think I will make it so I can use both.

FWIW, I think either vintage of the Fostex will deliver more of the "wow" factor that a lot of folks would appreciate from a small rear mouth back-loaded (tapped) horn of this form factor.

The Mark Audio drivers could certainly be considered more refined in some areas, but for bang for the buck (including sensitivity), the Fostex are still pretty impressive.
