What's an "album" "cover"?  ;-)  Seriously, with the advent of ripping CDs to a hard drive, I no longer look at the cover of the CD.  Sad, but true.

Some of the reasons I have always preferred vinyl (besides the fact I believe vinyl sounds better than digital) are the album covers, artwork, liner notes you can read without a magnifying glass, and occasional posters.

I happen to be just the opposite. Having nearly 14,000 albums now on Hard Drive using J.River Media Center, there's a cover for each album and by looking at them each day on my monitor, I've become much more intimate with the covers.  :D

Here HereThe Lady knows what's going on. I to love the album covers
and all information plus you used to get posters and punch outs.

I still have the punch out 3D glasses that came with the LP

I used to work in a record store when this one came out, and having never heard of the band before I would pick it up, stare at it, and wonder what it sounded like for a few weeks before I actually used my discount and forked out the cash, just so I could hear it!

This one has always been a favorite, too:

And another that I have always thought was cool:

Hmmm...  just realized that there are boobs on all three of those  :D

I guess I should throw in a couple more then:

I always thought that this one was absolutely iconic, and a favorite of mine as a kid:

This last one is perhaps my favorite album cover of all time:

Hey Wayner
Please post the klatuu covers. I think they are great and would you please post some of the Nectar covers. they're a 70's band with some great covers. Wish I still had that music.
