The Sony DVP-CX777es is a jukebox player that can hold 400 disks. It has really disppointing sound in its stock form for a Sony ES product. The good news is that it can be improved significantly and makes a great Transport when using an outboard DAC after mods. The imaging is fairly poor and dynamics not great in stock form. This mod focuses primarily on improving the digital output, but the power supply mods improve the analog outputs significantly. After mods, the analog outs are extremely nice and it is a superb Transport that compares with the best on the market.

Thanks to Steve for taking on the monumental task of transforming my transport (the CX777ES) into something I can be proud of.  I have no doubt it will be a truly superior transport and can't wait to get it back.
