These really are New Old Stock
New In Box ECC801S tubes. I bought them from a seller in Europe and broke the cellophane seal on the boxes myself.
They have never been used.IMO these are perhaps the best tubes to use with AVA FetValve amps. I tried a bunch of different tubes in my own AVA and stopped when the TFKs went in. Extended, controlled... a near perfect balance of tube beauty and raw speed and power.
I have tested them on my calibrated B&K 707 and all sections test between 80-84, which is pretty closely matched. Minimum good is 65.
I have a bunch of TFK ECC801Ses socked away, so much as it pains me to sell a pair of these off I need to fund a cable purchase and this is the way I decided to get the money to do it. Selling here first because of the charges on Audiogon even though I'm a long time member and seller there. Look me up by the same name on the 'gon and you'll see my feedback.
