I am selling a VPI Scout Signature with JMW-9 Signature tonearm wired with Nordost wire. The Scout Sig. is in excellent condition as you can see from the photos. The tonearm has the usual scuffs from cartridge mounting and the arm guard. I have all the original accessories that came with the Scout Signature (Shure stylus gauge, alignment jig, manual, tonearm damping fluid, Allen wrenches, etc…) as well. I am also including the VPI Anti-Skate mechanism which is already installed on the JMW-9 Signature tonearm. My asking price is well below retail and is actually below the retail cost of the JMW-9 Signature tonearm alone! Please add 3% for PayPal. Shipping will at the buyer's expense and via the buyer’s preference of UPS or FedEx.

Tornados suck (both literally and figuratively). I remember hiding out in storm shelters when I was a kid living in north Alabama. So I moved to south Alabama and now I get to hide from hurricanes.

Anyone run a Grado Gold in one of these tables successfully? Is the motor well shielded?

I used it with a Benz MC20E2L with zero hum/noise issues. Can't speak for the Grado. Here's a guy on Audiogon that uses a Grado Prestige Gold with his Scout. Maybe you could email him and see what he thinks of the combo.

This is a fantastic price for someone. A great starter deck or a nice upgrade. VPI is known for quality and they have excellent customer service. I think the arm is worth more then the asking price, less the anti-skating.
