For sale are my Omega Hemptone speakers with Skylan stands. The Hemptone has an 8" hemp driver installed in a cabinet with the same dimensions of the current Compact Hemp model. The driver in this case is on the skinny cabinet face, instead of the wide one. I like the way this looks better than the current Compact Hemp design, but I believe Louis made the change for some modest acoustic improvements. These speakers were satisfying and detailed from day one, and I've enjoyed them thoroughly as both main system speakers as well as in my second system.
I'm asking a VERY reasonable $500 plus shipping and any additional fees for these, stands included. 66502 shipping zip code, speakers in one box, stands in another. You're probably looking at about $80 or so for shipping, plus or minus. The stands alone are worth at least a couple hundred, so this is really a good deal. I'm practically giving them away. I wouldn't be doing so if my computer front-end wasn't about to crash and in desperate need of an upgrade. That, and I don't use my second system hardly at all. The drivers like regular use to retain their fullest expression, so they're no longer the match made in heaven for me they once were.
They're in great condition, as you can see in the pictures. The only exception is a very light, but somewhat long mark on one of the sides. The picture shows this in high detail from the use of a flash. It's quite difficult to see from any distance without a flash, especially with all of the wood grain detail.
