Used pricing of a 4B ST amplifier
« on: 7 Aug 2010, 02:15 am »
Can someone tell me if 1,200.00 bucks is a fair price for a 4B ST amp with about 5 years on the warranty remaining?

Thanks,
Dave

Well, that's up to you in some regards.

You can track like items on ebay and A'GON to get a feel if its worth it from a $$$ perspective, but that may not be the full answer. Still, from a $$$ perspective, I think you'll see it may be.

But here's a story, I bought a 29 yr old 4B on ebay for $630, then spent $575 having it recapped by B, so about $1200.00 I'm into it.

I think it was worth it. But that's me.

Not a bad price. If you can talk him down to $1000, even better.

Just sold my 14 year old 4B ST for 1,200.00 bucks! Just shows Bryston really does hold it's value.  Guess people know about the 20 year warranty and know they will be covered if anything should go wrong in the future.   :D
