Welcome Boomer, I also live in Indiana.  I am in Southern IN about 15 minutes from Louisville KY.  This is a great site for all things audio.

BTW, I am running a ClassD amp into my GR Research V-1s, nice amp.

Best,
Ed

Guess I could've mentioned I am also using class D amps into my Meadowlark Audio Kestrel HRs. Mono bloc SeymourAV amps pictured, mine are like the amp on the right.

Meadowlark Audio was one of the high end speaker companies I hated to see go.  I really liked what they had to offer, and for the most part they didn't stratify prices.  They deserved to survive.

Neither had I (but I did build a much more complicate pre-amp years ago).  This kit is very simple and requires minimal soldering.  If you have any questions, there are plenty of people here that will be more than willing to help out.  Also, there is a BIG thread on the Class-D Audio amps here, which you are likely aware of.

Welcome! :thumb:

Welcome from a former Hoosier, born in Louisville.  :thumb: Got tired of the humidity many years ago and headed west. You'll find lots of nice, knowledgeable, and helpful folks here.  8)
