These are in working order with all original drivers. Cabinets and grills in excellent condition. I will add pics later today. Please send me a message if you want to see pics of specific things or want to take a look at them or hear them.

These have the SDA feature which provides stereo crosstalk cancellation and were the last of the SDA series with the improved trilaminate dome tweeters.  6 midwoofers, 3 tweeters, a passive radiator per side.  I have replaced all the electrolytic capacitors in the crossovers with film types.   Original interconnect cable included.

Yes, these are REALLY 2.3TL's!

I will throw in a Kenwood KM-X1 THX 6ch amp if you can offer the full asking price. 6ch x 100watts.  You can use it to biamp the speakers.

I am asking $975 obo with local pickup in the South Bay.   Cash or paypal+paypal commission.

just curious,, what brand/type did you use for replacements?

I honestly don't remember exactly.  I know it wasn't one specific brand since I chose different ones for the lowpass versus highpass portions based on my personal preference and availability.  But I'm pretty certain I used a REL Multicap PPMFX in one of the tweeter circuits.  I am also certain that the crossovers are better now without any electrolytics.

I had these speakers, only the signature series and they could produce some awesome bass. They were also interconnected between each of them with an additional cable the put the inner mid-drivers of each cabinet out of phase with the other drivers, eliminating cross-talk distortions. They worked very well, when set up properly. A word to note that these speakers are very heavy, I recall 125 pounds each. 4 sub-bass radiators, 3 vertical soft dome tweeters and a 15" passive front firing radiator.

Wayner,

The picture actually shows the previous revision of the SRS 2.3's.  The TL's are the last incarnation are do not use any donut drivers in the SDA array.  The TL's differ also in the arrangement of the drivers. They had four on the inside and two on the outside!

But I must admit those speakers look great!

The picture is something I found on the images for the speaker on Google. I now do remember the drivers being reversed, so good catch. Mine were also the TL version. I just can't remember as they were from about 1985-1990? I know I had them here in my new house and that was in 1993, replaced by MartinLogan reQuests.

I had the 1.2TL's many years ago. One of my all time favorite speakers. I remember Julien Hirsch doing a review on them and he had to bring in some special analyzer to measure how low they went. 16Hz was measured if I'm not mistaken, the sub bass radiator kicked major Butaaaa :thumb:

I cross-listed these at Club Polk for you, and someone commented that they are 2.3, but not the TL revision.

This is confusing.  The pictures posted are NOT my speakers. They were posted by another member!!  Mine are definitely 2.3TL's.  Please inform the club polk people.  :(

I'll do that--george
